Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Compensation: $200K-$300K per year
Job Type: Part time or Full time. Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, No call.
A reputable medical group led by physicians and with multiple locations across Long Island is in search of a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. This group is known for its exceptional clinical care, patient satisfaction, and teamwork. This role is 100% outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care as a primary provider
- Offer direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting, covering preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
- Make referrals to specialist services when necessary
- Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Work closely with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff
- Adhere to HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines
- Participate in population health programs and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to building and maintaining a patient panel in line with practice growth goals

Qualifications:
- BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
- Valid NYS RN & NP license, BLS certified, Board Certified
- Specialized training in Internal Medicine
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a patient-focused approach
- Track record of growing and managing a local clinical practice
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for building a patient base
- Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics preferred
