Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: South Windsor, CT
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of procedures within the company's quality system. Working closely with the Quality Manager, this role will involve coordinating and executing projects to ensure quality standards are met.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to quality system policies and procedures by all employees.
- Conduct routine system audits and implement corrective actions to improve the quality system.
- Plan and coordinate activities with other resources to ensure timely project completion.
- Develop quality plans, inspection procedures, and participate in product design reviews.
- Conduct process capability studies and nonconformance analysis.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Carry out general responsibilities as required by site management.
- Participate in supplier audits, customer visits, and complaint resolution.
- Analyze statistical data and identify new technologies to improve quality control.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality engineering principles.
- Proficiency in metrology, GD&T, and automated inspection equipment.
- Strong communication, statistical analysis, and project management skills.
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance. Certification as a Quality Engineer, Manager, or Auditor is desired.
Experience with SPC, PPAP submissions, and MSA is preferred. Knowledge of Reach/RoHS and ISO14001 is a plus.
