Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, train, and supervise the assigned Quality Assurance Technicians and team members
  • Deliver training and education on various quality control techniques
  • Lead department and process improvement teams, utilizing lean enterprise techniques
  • Drive quality measurement and improvement activities to meet both internal and external quality requirements
  • Review engineering documentation and collaborate with Engineering to establish quality and reliability standards
  • Analyze inspection data, identify deviations from quality standards, and recommend improvements
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address any quality issues
  • Collect material samples, perform inspections, and determine raw material and in-process product conditions
  • Analyze and interpret production and inspection data to assess conformance to specifications
  • Maintain the quality assurance documentation system by developing and updating procedures
  • Collaborate with product service and warranty personnel to resolve manufacturing quality problems
  • Advocate for quality concerns and ensure their prompt resolution
  • Develop and implement a supplier quality assurance program

Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in a technical field, relevant experience will also be considered
  • 5+ years of quality experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • ASQ Certification is preferred
  • Proficient in metal fabrication, possess strong QA methodology skills, and able to identify root causes of problems
  • Exceptional people and leadership skills

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
