Job Title: Production Manager – Night Shift

Location: Norfolk, Nebraska

Salary: $70-120K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Production Manager:

The Night Production Manager has the responsibility for overseeing the facility to support overall business objectives. This includes managing all aspects of daily production, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring sanitation, and assisting the EHS manager with implementing safety programs and policies in the Production area. The Production Supervisors will report to the Production Manager.

Job Responsibilities of the Production Manager:

• Developing key manufacturing plans and programs to achieve budgeted unit cost and output objectives
• Coordinating activities of all manufacturing functional areas to align with plant goals
• Creating SOPs for all production processes
• Maintaining production capacity that meets sales volume requirements
• Developing and tracking annual operating budget
• Improving the quality of plant assets
• Enhancing technical and manufacturing management skills
• Establishing performance standards and improvement plans for supervisors
• Creating appropriate scheduling and work schedules
• Establishing quality specifications for incoming raw materials
• Developing and improving products and processes
• Managing inventory of off-spec materials
• Maintaining formulation data system

Education & Experience of the Production Manager:

• 5-7 years of previous management experience in a dairy or whey manufacturing facility is REQUIRED!
• Background in dairy, evaporators, and/or drying technologies
• Dairy manufacturing or whey experience is required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of plant operation procedures and business system software applications
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Previous supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work a night shift schedule of 6pm-6am 2-2-3 Schedule
• Bilingual background highly desired
