PEO Sales Executive - Certified PEO, California (Home Office Based)

Our client, a certified PEO in business for over 20 years, is seeking an Outside Sales Executive with experience in complex selling (PEO or HCM sales). The primary goal of this role is to increase market share and drive organizational growth through negotiating and closing new business deals.

This is a work-from-home position, allowing you to live anywhere in California. We are looking for a metrics-driven Individual Contributor with a proven track record of success (including consecutive President's Clubs, awards, etc.). Please note that this is not a director or managerial role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive network of business contacts to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct research to develop prospecting lists for potential clients
  • Prospect for new clients through various channels, such as emails, phone calls, in-office visits, networking events, and leveraging referral partners
  • Schedule appointments to present company services to final decision makers and end users
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including discovery, needs analysis, proposal presentation, features and benefits comparisons, technology demonstration, negotiation, and closing
  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of consultative B2B selling experience
  • Demonstrated experience in generating leads and prospecting business

The base salary for this position is $100k, with additional residual commissions (for the lifetime of the account) and quarterly company bonuses. Most salespeople earn $250k+ in their first year, with top performers exceeding $300k+.
