Organizational Development Manager

Position Summary:

The HR Transformation Lead will be responsible for fostering a strong learning and development culture across three locations in Spring Grove, IL. The aim is to create a cohesive team that is committed to each other, as well as meeting customer needs. This role requires collaboration with others to establish an effective organizational structure and implement sustainable processes that continuously build skills to support evolving business needs and develop servant leaders for the future.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish infrastructure and processes to support:
    • Leadership development and succession planning for organic promotion
    • Effective skills training across all business functions
    • Apprentice and internship programs in key functional areas
    • Flex Labor
  • Organize and lead a companywide Talent Management process
  • Offer expertise in strategy development and execution, planning and facilitating development initiatives in a flat organization
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Manufacturing teams to assess developmental needs and drive training initiatives
  • Identify and arrange suitable training solutions for all employees
  • Search for and implement effective methods to educate, enhance, and recognize performance
  • Consult and advise management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters
  • Conduct ongoing needs assessments to enhance employee job performance and company performance
  • Direct needs assessment for training and staff development
  • Propose training and development programs and objectives aligned with business priorities
  • Assist in the design and development of HR training programs
  • Conduct follow-up studies to evaluate and measure training results
  • Monitor spending against the company training budget
  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization
  • Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff
  • Evaluate training courses, materials, objectives, and accomplishments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Leadership Development, or Organizational Training and Development
  • 8-10 plus years of organizational development and training experience
  • 5 years of experience leading organizational change at a management level
  • Experience in both corporate and manufacturing human resources is a plus
