Location: Columbus, OH

This privately held financially stable client is seeking a Business Development Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for organizational-level discussions with Health Systems or customers in other segments of the healthcare industry. The main responsibility of the Key Accounts Manager is to expand the purchasing relationships with this client. This role involves interacting with supply chain management, executives, and department heads.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and implement new methods to increase sales of these facilities through direct contact via phone calls, emails, site visits, or trade shows.
  • Travel as needed to conduct face-to-face meetings with key contacts.
  • Open up lines of discussion with accounts to facilitate smoother conversations about accounting and/or shipping matters.
  • Continuously enhance the company's image and services as a major supplier in the healthcare industry.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the quarter.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in sales, preferably in a consultative selling or equivalent environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both company staff and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks.
  • Availability for customer visits, travel, and participation in trade shows.
