Maintenance Planner, Scheduler, Parts Room Superintendent

Maintenance Logistics Coordinator - Rockingham, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing maintenance planning and scheduling requirements for all assets.
  • Ensuring accuracy and validity of information by analyzing and updating asset database and maintenance requirements using relevant software.
  • Collaborating closely with maintenance execution, reliability and engineering, as well as external departments to ensure efficient and effective work plans.
  • Providing effective asset maintenance scheduling and reporting.
  • Implementing software upgrades and enhancements.
  • Making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Providing reports on asset maintenance status.
  • Maintaining systems for prioritizing and scheduling work using Maximo CMMS or other software.
  • Reviewing and reporting on work order status.
  • Customizing user-interface to improve accuracy of data inputs.
  • Assisting managers and supervisors in implementing best practices for asset management.
  • Coordinating and developing IT interfaces with CMMS of other departments.
  • Preparing maintenance forecast reports based on available data and projected activities.
  • Determining material needs for maintenance and inspection requirements and coordinating with Procurement and RS&S Operations.
  • Participating in the development and administration of an assigned budget.
  • Forecasting funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Monitoring and approving expenditures.
  • Providing scheduling and planning support for work orders and corrective & preventive maintenance work.
  • Managing the entire Work Order life cycle.
  • Reporting on and tracking metrics for planning and scheduling opportunities.
  • Scheduling maintenance contract work across the organization.
  • Conducting performance and business reviews with maintenance contracting companies.
  • Collaborating with CAPEX team regarding manpower needs.
  • Managing contract companies to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Providing monthly KPI reports to the maintenance manager.
  • Coordinating special parts orders with maintenance.
  • Providing reports to management on inventory valuation, cycle count variances, scrap, and obsolescence.
  • Establishing and maintaining "Work-Flow Process Charts" and standard operating procedures for major work systems within plant stores.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of experience (additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Specialized training or education in maintenance (preferred).
  • Previous experience engaging and managing contractors.
  • Previous experience with CMMS (Maximo preferred).
  • Previous budgeting experience.
  • Work order generation and life cycle management.
  • Expertise in generating reports for project status and statistics.
  • Previous experience maintaining a parts room.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
