Job Title: Human Resources Representative - Bilingual
Location: Wakefield, Nebraska
Salary: $40-50K
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for various administrative duties, providing support to employees, contributing to employee recognition and events, handling benefit enrollment, recruitment and orientation, ensuring compliance, managing communications, and more.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is REQUIRED.
- Previous HR experience desired.
- Previous clerical experience desired.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team as needed.
- Proficient knowledge and use of computer programs desired (Word and Excel required; Power Point).
- Must have effective follow-up, problem solving, communication, creativity and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and identify and change priorities efficiently to keep up with business demand.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be professional in dealing with personnel issues including maintaining confidential information.
- Current and valid driver’s license preferred.
- Knowledge of ATS and/or HRIS system desired.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administration of various human resources programs and functions.
- HR Representatives will have areas of focus, based on department needs.
- Attendance tracking & discipline notices
- Service awards
- Update job descriptions and postings as needed
- Assist with recruitment (non-exempt) - posting vacancies, conducting interviews, making offers, pre-employment activities, orientation, job fairs, school presentations, tours, etc.
- Employee recognition (YMADs)
- Leave of absence management
- Anniversary and birthday calendars
- Planning and executing employee meals and events
- Exit and stay interviews
- Retention efforts
- New hire benefit enrollments, annual enrollments and answering insurance questions
- Ensuring company bulletin boards and postings are up-to-date
- Filing
- EBI (I-9) expiration and system maintenance
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, answering phones, photocopying, faxing, and filing.
- Assist employees in various tasks as needed.
- Compile, update, and generate reports (audits, etc.).
- Assist with trainings, presentations, and events (designing Power Point presentations, room set-up, etc.).
- Provide back-up support to others in the HR Department as needed.
- Participate in committees as needed to represent HR and provide support.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone by adhering to all safety policies and procedures and incorporating safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
