Job Summary of the Human Resources Manager:

The Human Resources Manager will provide support to the company's vision and goals by acting as a strategic partner in human resources. They will ensure that the human resources function is aligned with the overall business objectives. This role will focus on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and collaboration with business leaders to improve the organization's performance.

Job Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

  • Coach business leaders on important organizational and personnel matters.
  • Ensure consistent communication of HR policies throughout the organization.
  • Oversee communication with employees regarding organizational changes, benefits, compensation, and policies.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the overall management of the company's benefits and compensation programs.
  • Conduct or support employee relations or compliance investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to create a positive work environment and increase employee engagement.
  • Conduct employee feedback sessions to gather input and insights.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts by working closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Support the implementation of talent development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess organizational needs.
  • Align HR initiatives with key business objectives in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Develop and implement HR plans and programs.
  • Use HR metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

Education & Experience of the Human Resources Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Human Resources.
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or HR Generalist.
  • Prior HR experience in a Manufacturing setting is required.
  • Master's degree and professional certification preferred (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
