Salt Lake City Field Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to service medical laboratory equipment, specifically hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers. Previous experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. The role entails servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Salt Lake City, UT area. A strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current or recent Field Service Experience
• Experience servicing electronics
• Experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment
• Ability to travel overnight

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline
• Good experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Willingness to travel overnight
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation
• Establishing a strong foundation of customer relations
• Coordinating problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintaining car inventory, including tools and trunk stock
• Providing basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
