Central California Field Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Central California Field Engineer to service and maintain medical laboratory equipment for our leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. This role requires current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry, with a focus on servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation. The position is based in the Central CA area.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Proven experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Prior experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• Note: This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory instrumentation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain inventory, including tools and trunk stock.
• Provide basic on-site training on company instrumentation operation.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
