Central California Field Engineer

Location: Stockton, CA

No relocation. Candidates can reside anywhere from Stockton, CA to Bakersfield, CA.

Our company, a manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers, is seeking a Central California Field Engineer to service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc). Previous field service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. The role primarily involves servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the Central CA area. A strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establishing a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinating problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintaining car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providing basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.
