Role Purpose

This pivotal role enhances our product development capabilities by overseeing component sourcing coordination, managing supplier relationships, creating/maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), processing Engineering Change Notices (ECN), and handling technical documentation for all product lines.

Your primary focus will be on our outdoor electric patio heater development project. In addition, you will provide essential coordination and documentation support for the entire engineering team, enabling our design engineers to concentrate on core design tasks. This collaborative role is ideal for a technical coordinator who excels at organizing the product lifecycle and connecting design, compliance, and production.

Team & Collaboration

As an Engineering Services Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Engineer and collaborate closely with Project Engineers on component selection and sourcing. You will also serve as a key liaison, working with Operations on production engineering documentation and with Purchasing on supplier coordination.

Position Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications (Firm Filters)

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years of industry experience in engineering coordination, applications engineering, sourcing engineering, compliance agency field engineering, or technical project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Career Track: Total work experience exceeds 4 years.
  • Systems & Documentation: Direct experience managing BOMs and ECNs within ERP/PLM environments, combined with strong written technical communication skills.
  • Specialized Domain Knowledge: Must possess relevant background in electric heating supplier ecosystem knowledge or compliance agency field engineering.
