Electrical Engineering Team Lead

Job Location: Waukesha, WI

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Team Lead to oversee all electrical systems, repairs, and improvements for the entire location. As the Team Lead, you will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all electrical and electronic equipment is operationally ready
  • Create plans for all long-range electrical projects and assist with the electrical portion of other projects
  • Supervise and schedule the work for a group of 8 electrical team members across three shifts
  • Directly involved in the selection, hiring, training, and development of new personnel
  • Manage administrative programs related to electrical systems and personnel
  • Oversee contractors as needed, directing their activities to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of electrical experience OR 10+ years of electrical experience OR a combination of education and experience
  • Prior supervisory experience is a must
  • Strong electrical experience, including troubleshooting and repair of controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter mentality
