Job Opportunity: Controls Technician
A well-established company with a dominant market presence in its industry is seeking a Controls Technician for its location in Villa Rica, GA. This full-time position is for the day shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
The Controls Technician will play a key role in cell design, control integration, and installation of automated equipment. Responsibilities include building and programming PLC panels, as well as ensuring smooth operation of automated systems used in production.
Responsibilities:
- Install air logic controls based on prints or schematics.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits containing various components.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Install, program, or repair controllers.
- Perform maintenance tasks on fabrication equipment.
Additional responsibilities include operating equipment, analyzing events within equipment, and collaborating with engineers and production teams to optimize output. The role also involves preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and training others on equipment use and service.
The position is based in Villa Rica, GA, with competitive hourly rates, overtime pay, excellent benefits, and a matching 401K plan.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting.
- Experience in panel building and electrical work.
- Knowledge of robotic systems and safety circuit integration.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
