General Summary:

A well-established company with a leading market share in their industry and a positive work environment is seeking a Controls Technician for their day shift in southwest suburban Atlanta, GA. The working hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The Controls Technician will be involved in cell design, controls integration, and installation of automated equipment, including building, programming, and running PLC panels.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of air logic controls and troubleshooting of hydraulic circuits
• Troubleshooting of PLC systems
• Installation, programming, and repair of programmable controllers and robot controllers
• Maintenance of fabrication equipment
• Operating and analyzing equipment
• Collaborating with engineers and production team
• Conducting preventative maintenance and repairs
• Training others on equipment installation and maintenance

Location:

The position is located in southwest suburban Atlanta, GA. The company offers an attractive hourly rate with overtime paid at time and 1/2. Employees are eligible for major company benefits and a 401K with matching.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years related experience
• PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting
• Panel building and electrical experience
• Robotic experience and safety circuit integration
• Authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship
