Location: Newnan, GA
General Summary:
A well-established company in Newnan, GA is looking for a Controls Technician to join their team on the day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday). The ideal candidate will be involved in cell design, controls integration, and installation of automated equipment. Responsibilities include building and programming PLC panels, configuring systems, troubleshooting controls, and maintaining automated equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install air logic controls based on prints or schematics.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits and components.
- Diagnose and solve issues with PLC systems using a computer.
- Program, install, and repair programmable and robot controllers.
- Perform maintenance tasks using knowledge of fabrication equipment.
Additional Duties:
- Operate equipment and analyze events within.
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize output.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Train others in equipment installation, operation, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- 6 years of related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting.
- Experience in panel building and electrical work.
- Knowledge of robotics and safety circuit integration.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
