Complex Technical Site Manager

Advanced Technical Operations Manager

Location: Lewiston Woodville, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and analyze working methodologies to enhance factory efficiency and reliability, optimize asset utilization, and reduce costs.
  • Promote a culture of loss control and prevention through continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical and operational support for plant infrastructure maintenance and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Drive a strong and robust Maintenance Excellence Program.
  • Minimize line downtime and implement process and technical operational improvements to enhance overall equipment reliability.
  • Improve and promote the plant's Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program.
  • Implement a comprehensive 5S Program.
  • Develop and deliver training for technical skills, TPM, safety (including LOTO and 6S), and other relevant topics.
  • Effectively communicate and manage change within the maintenance teams, including the implementation of new processes, equipment, and work methods.
  • Collaborate with the Training & Development Manufacturing Support Lead to identify and establish a skills matrix and associated training programs.
  • Assist corporate engineering with the planning and execution of capital projects.
  • Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analysis studies.
  • Maintain overall quality levels of equipment and department work, and ensure on-time delivery schedules.
  • Supervise the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and development, to meet department needs.
  • Ensure completion of preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, and maintain records for all assets.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental requirements and regulations for maintenance projects.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food industry (additional targeted experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Solid understanding of maintenance management systems and processes, preventative and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies, and standard software applications.
  • Working knowledge of Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EAS) regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of packaging equipment and integrated systems, including fault diagnosis and corrective action.
  • Strong communication, mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • CMRP, Six Sigma, and Lean Certifications are strongly preferred.

Salary: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00
