CNC Sales Engineer

Aspire Talent Solutions is collaborating with a primary distributor of advanced machine tools and related technology, providing support and engineering services for manufacturers of precision machined parts. Our team is expanding and seeking a CNC Sales Engineer to promote the sales of manufacturing solutions for machine tools in the Western Pennsylvania region. In this position, you will establish enduring customer relationships and engage directly with prospects and end users to facilitate full-cycle sales activities for metal-cutting and EDM machinery. This includes horizontal machining centers (HMCs) with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis capabilities, graphite machining centers, automation, and wire and sinker EDMs. Responsibilities: - Take ownership of territory management, achieving equipment sales goals, ensuring profitability, and managing accounts for assigned product lines. - Cultivate and strengthen new and existing relationships with customers, prospects, and suppliers in order to attract new business, increase revenue, and convert competitive end-users to our product solutions. - Provide technical expertise, machine tool and part processing recommendations, and ongoing support. Assist with time studies, deal sheets, and quotations. - Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and educate customers on our products, concepts, and industry trends to drive greater market adoption. Develop brand loyal champions. - Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to fulfill pre-sale requirements, including comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations, exploration of automation opportunities, conducting test cuts, and more. - Demonstrate high integrity and sensitivity in post-sales communication to resolve challenging customer issues. Provide support for service and parts needs to ensure outstanding end user satisfaction. - Assist in the creation of market and industry-relevant information and collateral to share with prospects and customers. - Update and maintain sales activities within CRM (Salesforce). Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to leadership as needed. - Participate actively in regional industry associations to attract new opportunities. - Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the machine tool industry, product lines, and competitors. Requirements: - Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or capital sales is a plus. A proven track record of success in B2B sales is required. - A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field of study is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered. - Formal sales training, such as SPIN, Challenger, IMPACT selling, or Sandler, is highly beneficial. - High level of technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and other engineering documents, is required. - Experience with SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred. - Extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, as well as to headquarters and other partner events, is expected. - Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
