Additionally, we manage the technical aspects of our repair function.</p> <h2>Job Title: Software Implementation Specialist</h2> <h2>Job Location: Charleston, SC</h2> <h2>Role & Responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li>Support the VP of Engineering with all technical requirements related to designing solutions for customers, including CAD modeling, FEA, and specifying products for various applications.</li> <li>Assist customers with other technical needs, including troubleshooting.</li> <li>Review and study previous projects with the VP of Engineering to create technical marketing materials, such as project case studies, for the Marketing department.</li> <li>Review and study Company inspection and repair procedures with the VP of Engineering to create technical training documents, such as work instructions and training materials, for internal use.</li> <li>Gradually take on various engineering functions and potentially lead the Engineering department in the future, based on exceptional performance.</li> </ul> <h2>Candidate Experience, Skills, and Attributes:</h2> <ul> <li>Strong mechanical engineering background, demonstrated through relevant coursework and/or professional experience. Additional background in electrical engineering is preferred but not required.</li> <li>Practical knowledge of applying mechanical engineering concepts, including hands-on experience in building/repairing machines or technical components.</li> <li>Experience with CAD modeling, and preferred experience with FEA.</li> <li>Experience in various forms of technical writing, including case studies, training materials, and work instructions.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teammates across different departments, such as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Repair.</li> <li>Intellectual curiosity, team-focused mindset, and a drive to identify and improve Company systems and processes, with a particular focus on engineering-related functions.</li> <li>Candidate should have ties to or demonstrated interest in Charleston, SC and be interested in residing in the area for the medium to long term.</li> </ul> </body> </html>
