An esteemed healthcare organization in Central Illinois is in search of a skilled Dermatologist with expertise in Mohs Surgery to lead the development of a new Dermatology & Mohs service line.
This role offers the opportunity for complete clinical autonomy to establish, expand, and enhance a top-tier dermatology practice supported by a strong healthcare system. Focused on meeting the dermatological needs of Mattoon and its surrounding regions, responsibilities include providing general medical dermatology services, skin cancer screenings, surgical excision, and Mohs micrographic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and management of a new Dermatology and Mohs Surgery service line
- Offer expert evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for skin cancers and medical dermatological conditions
- Perform Mohs micrographic surgeries and reconstructive procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to build a strong referral network
- Create a patient-centered environment with high clinical standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited US medical school with Dermatology residency training
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Mohs Surgery experience or fellowship training preferred
- Active Illinois medical license and DEA registration
- Strong clinical leadership skills
