Digital Solutions Architect

Location: Tampa, FL

The Digital Solutions Engineer (DSE) serves as the company's nationwide expert on middleware, connectivity, cybersecurity, and digital workflow optimization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring success in pre-sale activities, smooth implementation processes, quick issue resolutions, and continued digital advancement.

As the technical cornerstone of the company's digital environment, you will develop best practices for middleware installations, lead rule development efforts, troubleshoot interfaces, and handle escalated digital challenges. Collaboration with Training, Sales, Clinical Applications, Field Service, and Product Management teams is essential to ensure that every customer receives the necessary digital enablement, security, and confidence.

To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Windows Server Operating Systems, intermediate-level skills in database administration (particularly in Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL DBMS software), and a general knowledge of computer network infrastructure and Windows networking. A strong grasp of network configuration, connectivity, Windows OS, database structures, virtualization, and HL7/ASTM standards is highly desirable.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in clinical diagnostics, middleware support, digital workflow design, technical support, or digital product support.
