Job Opening: Foundry Production Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

General Summary:

An established company with a significant market share is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a plant in Indianapolis. The company has a positive working culture and is investing in new capital equipment. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and designing manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, and achieving manufacturing goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements for current production lines.
• Analyze failures and recommend changes using statistical methods.
• Design and implement production processes for new products.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize productivity methods.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.
• Tooling, project management, and automation experience required.
• Manufacturing engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:
