Job Opening: CNC Milling Operator

Location: Berlin, CT

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with 5-axis experience to become a valuable member of their team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in machine setup, operation, and adjustments, while being able to work with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Efficiently set up and operate CNC machining centers.
• Troubleshooting: Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes as required.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret blueprint requirements to choose tools, set feeds, and determine speeds.
• Quality Inspection: Use precision hand tools to inspect machined parts and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Workplace Maintenance: Keep a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines.
• Tool Management: Monitor and reorder tools when needed.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 4-6 years in CNC 5-axis milling setup and operations.
• Physical Capability: Must be capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
